  • As fill-in host of Science magazine’s popular podcast, I conducted 47 in-depth interviews with scientists and hosted 32 weekly podcasts, with an average of 75,000 downloads per episode.
  • I wrote, produced and edited short-form videos for the web based on research appearing in Science magazine.


Writer/Producer, Science Update, American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), July 2007- November 2018

  • Reporter and producer for the daily radio feature and weekly podcast, Science Update. I pitched science stories, wrote radio features, and supervised a small team of writers. I interviewed more than 1,100 scientists and produced and distributed over 2,500 daily radio shows, as well as 200 weekly podcasts. I managed social media accounts and the content management system.

Content Developer, Coast to Cactus in southern California, San Diego Natural History Museum, March 2014-June 2015

  • I developed an interactive oral history listening station for a permanent exhibition on regional ecosystems. Interviewed people about their outdoor experiences in two languages. Designed a touchscreen interactive linking crowd-sourced and historic photos to a map of southern California.
